Hita is a consultant solicitor in the Magistrates team, covering work all over Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire and further afield.

She joined Coomber Rich recently as a consultant, having worked for over 20 years as a solicitor, initially in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire area as a senior solicitor before adding Hampshire and its surrounding area to her work portfolio.

Hita began her career by qualifying as a fellow of the instate of legal executives (ILEX) following a degree in Social Sciences. She then went on to head up a Crown Court department of a busy firm of solicitors in Luton, before qualifying as a solicitor in their criminal department.

She has dealt with a very wide and extensive range of criminal cases. Ranging from simple speeding matters to grave and serious complex fraud, murders and sexual offences.

Continuing over the years to work for both legal aid and privately funded clients all over the country. As well as having a wealth of experience as an accredited police station solicitor and court duty solicitor, providing expert advice and assistance to her clients at both court and police stations.

Hita is particularly knowledgeable about allegations of benefit fraud, having had many years of experience as a specialist in this area. Enjoying a reputation as a conscientious and dedicated solicitor who will fight tooth and nail to get the right results for her clients. She is both approachable and empathetic in her manner, helps put clients and their families at ease and helps build a good rapport with clients of all ages and a wide variety of backgrounds.

It is the combination of her years of experience and her calming manner that has resulted in her developing a loyal client base and frequent recommendations.

She is also fluent in conversing with clients in Gujrati.

Covid 19 has led Hita to address her work-life balance leading her to change her working pattern from being employed to one working as a consultant offering her freedom and flexibility in her work-life balance.
